FINMA- & BaFin Compliance
NFC identification enables automated identity verification, even for strictly regulated industries, as well as qualified electronic signatures.

Real-time NFC identification - how it works

01
Scanning ID document from the back of an NFC-enabled smartphone
  • Recognition of the document
  • Validation and extraction of Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) and Visual Inspection Zone (VIZ)
02
Reading and comparing the data from the NFC chip with the physical ID document
  • Validation and readout of the data stored on the chip via NFC interface
  • Comparison with the information captured by the camera scan
03
Taking a short selfie video
Comparison with the biometric facial features transmitted by reading the NFC chip
Person typing on a smartphone

SEAMLESS UX NFC identification via web browser without media breaks

Our web-based auto-identification process, PXL Ident, can easily be supplemented with NFC identification and does not require the download of a separate app. The end user is comfortably guided through the entire verification process. An app is always required to read the NFC chip. We have natively integrated this into the process, and it is also available as an app clip for iOS systems. This means that the app is downloaded during the web process, so there is no need to visit an app store. This makes the process as convenient as possible for the end user.
