Certified data centers

The sensitive data of customers and partners is stored and processed exclusively in certified data centers in Switzerland or, by arrangement, in Germany. We do not work with cloud service providers outside the EEA and treat security incidents with the highest priority in cooperation with customers and authorities.

Strong encryption procedures help us to comprehensively protect sensitive data both during transmission and storage. We use the latest encryption standards and protocols, which are regularly reviewed and updated.

Our KYC identity verification is classified as Limited Risk under the EU AI Act—using AI for document authenticity, face matching, and liveness detection to stop fraud. Fully aligned with Article 50 transparency and GDPR, with user notification, unbiased data, and human oversight built in.

ISO 27001 - Information security management system (ISMS)

TÜV Rheinland has audited and certified PXL Vision's information security processes and management system according to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. With this company certificate, the independent auditor confirms that PXL Vision's customers benefit from the highest security standards and that PXL Vision has appropriate and comprehensive structures, guidelines and procedures for planning, implementing, monitoring and continuously improving information security.

ISAE 3402 - International Standard on Assurance Engagements

The effectiveness of PXL Vision's internal control system is regularly independently audited by the renowned auditing firm KPMG and confirmed in an ISAE 3402 Type 2 report. This underlines our commitment to the highest standards and reliability in the areas of information security and data protection. ETSI TS 119 461- European & Swiss standard for Identity Proofing

KPMG has certified PXL Ident for QES and the Manual Check process according to ETSI TS 119 461. The certificate defines security and policy requirements for Identity Proofing Service Providers (IPSPs), supporting trust services such as qualified electronic signatures (QES) in both the ZertES (Switzerland) and eIDAS (EU) frameworks.
Organisations that achieve ETSI TS 119 461 certification demonstrate compliance with strict standards for managing digital identity proofing services. This includes protecting personal and biometric data through secure capture, processing and storage, following encryption protocols, and ensuring compliance with data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swiss DSG.
