HOW IT WORKS Identity proofing with

Start verification

After entering data on the A-Trust website, the user is automatically redirected to PXL Ident for A-Trust QES.

Identification using PXL Ident for A-Trust QES
  1. Scan of an ID card or passport.
  2. Security check: If the user has an NFC-enabled ID document, the biometric NFC data is extracted and sent to PXL Vision. If there is no NFC-enabled document, the visual data of the document is extracted and checked by a manual verification centre, working 24/7. The result is sent to A-Trust.
  3. Record a short selfie video to confirm identity and liveness (passive, no head or lip movement required).
  4. Various algorithms verify the authenticity of the document, compare the document photo to the selfie and confirm liveness.

Signing process

After successful identification and automatic forwarding to A-Trust, the document gets signed with a remote QES certificate.

To use e-signature, users undergo a one-time identity verification process. A-Trust certificates are valid for five years and allow users to sign an unlimited
number of documents with qualified electronic signatures during this period – user-friendly, convenient, and future-proof.
