Our identity proofing solution, PXL Ident for Swisscom QES works seamlessly with the Swisscom Trust Services signing service and is integrated into the Swisscom Trust Services platform MAB (Multiple Authentication Broker).

Swisscom partners / customers can pre-select PXL Ident for Swisscom QES as an Identity Proofing Service Provider (IPSP) for their end customers.

Start verification

The signing platform or Swisscom partner sends the signing request to the Swisscom Trust Service API, and the user is redirected to the platform to perform the identity verification.

The user can be redirected directly to PXL Ident for Swisscom QES or first need to select us as their preferred IPSP.

Identification using PXL Ident for Swisscom QES

Scan of an ID card or passport.
Security check: If the user has an NFC-enabled ID document, the biometric NFC data is extracted and sent to Swisscom Trust Services. If there is no NFC-enabled document, the visual data of the document is extracted and checked by a manual verification centre during business hours. The result is sent to Swisscom Trust Services.
Record a short selfie video to confirm identity and liveness (passive, no head or lip movement required).
Various algorithms verify the authenticity of the document, compare the document photo to the selfie and confirm liveness.

Signing process

After successful identification, the document is signed with a remote certificate and the customer receives it via the Swisscom API.
