Swiss start-up PXL Vision, winner of the Swiss Economic Forum Award 2019, continues to grow its position within the Swiss Telco market with the addition of its most recent client Quickline. Quickline, one of Switzerland’s largest mobile operators and fourth largest full-service telecom provider, has launched a mobile solution for customer onboarding using PXL Vision’s Daego® platform for identity verification. Looking to eliminate the cumbersome and expensive process of manually verifying a customer’s identity, the new solution enables a completely digital workflow for customer onboarding, without requiring the customer to be physically present.

Quickline partnered with PXL Vision to build a mobile app to deliver more efficient and secure digital identity workflows and an improved onboarding experience. “The app allows our customers to easily scan their ID and record a video selfie using a mobile device”, says Marc Loosli, Director Innovation of Quickline Holding. PXL Vision’s biometric facial recognition engine then ensures the document actually belongs to the user by comparing the face from the video selfie to the photo on the document. “This removes the need for any physical identification, allowing users to close a Quickline subscription anytime and from anywhere”, Marc Loosli explains.

Since its deployment with other leading Swiss companies in 2017, PXL Vision has worked hard on further developing its Daego® (digital alter ego) platform for secure and efficient identity verification. These efforts are clearly paying off after winning the high-tech category at the 2019 SEF Awards. “We are extremely proud of the recognition by the SEF, and are excited that Quickline has chosen our technology to help improve sales conversions, reduce fraud, and drive down the cost of customer onboarding” says Karim Nemr, Founder and CBO of PXL Vision. PXL Vision’s Daego® platform is a highly scalable software solution that allows businesses across industries to turn inefficient manual processes into effective, user-friendly, reliable digital identity workflows.
