The Fintech startup fulfils KYC requirements under money laundering law with the Auto-ID PXL Ident
Zurich, November 3, 2023 - PXL Vision, the Swiss market leader and premium provider of digital identity verification solutions, has implemented PXL Ident, an Auto-ID process, at Wemakeit subsidiary OOMNIUM to automatically verify the identity of investors. The crowd investing platform OOMNIUM specialises in investing and financing startups and SMEs with social added value, as well as sustainable business models, and issues digital shares in the form of registered value rights on the blockchain. As a financial intermediary, the company is obliged to identify and screen investors for KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements under money laundering law. PXL Vision impressed OOMNIUM with its web-based verification process. For platform operators, it is a key advantage to be able to carry out verification directly in the browser, without having to download an additional application, as is the case with other providers. This fact is important for OOMNIUM, as an Ethereum wallet app must already be downloaded to purchase the digital shares.
