Zurich, December 5, 2023PXL Vision, the Swiss market leader and premium provider of solutions for digital identity verification, can count Groupe Mutuel as another well-known company among its customers. The comprehensive insurer already introduced an additional digital alternative to the paper-based application process at the end of 2022 with the solution from PXL Vision. Previously, applicants had to go through a mainly paper-based process at key points. The new process has reduced the duration of the application process from seven days to seven minutes. This is because now applicants can not only register online via the Auto-ID from PXL Vision, but also verify their identity online, sign the insurance contract immediately and activate access to the online customer area. In addition, Groupe Mutuel's customer service has been relieved and the cost per customer has been halved. The number of cancellations has fallen sharply and the conversion rate has more than doubled since the new system was introduced.

Under the old procedure, applicants first entered their personal details on the company's website to gain access to the online customer area. After the initial processing of the application, Groupe Mutuel sent the applicants the necessary access data by post. Applicants were then able to complete their registration. "The old process was costing us a lot of potential customers. That's why we wanted to implement a solution that was secure, fast, and as convenient as possible for our customers," said Jonathan Valour, Senior Product Manager at Groupe Mutuel: "Working with PXL Vision has benefitted us and our customers on several levels. Today, we are able to onboard applicants effortlessly, providing them with the insurance they need, when they need it. We create value for them and for our company."
